Stirling Hotel is seeking a dynamic and experienced Functions & Events Manager to oversee the seamless delivery of functions and events, ensuring every occasion exceeds client expectations. About the Role As Functions & Events Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of event delivery at the venue level, from initial enquiry through to post-event follow-up. Reporting to the Venue Manager and with the support of the Group Functions & Events Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team and ensure every event reflects our high standards of service and presentation. What You’ll Be Doing Manage end-to-end delivery of functions and events, ensuring exceptional client experiences. Respond to enquiries promptly and convert leads into confirmed bookings through tailored proposals. Collaborate with department, group and marketing teams to support local promotions and sales initiatives. Execute group processes and maintain compliance with operational and safety standards. Lead and develop the functions team, providing training and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for each event. What We’re Looking For Previous experience in event management or hospitality leadership roles. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with H+L, Monday.com or similar operational platforms highly regarded. Excellent communication and client relationship skills. Commercial awareness and ability to meet financial and operational targets. RSA qualification or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
