As **Senior Accounting Manager**, you will lead the Accounting team to deliver high-quality trust accounting services for managed funds and debt capital market clients, ensuring compliance with all agreements and trust documentation.**About the role**As a Senior Accounting Manager at Perpetual Corporate Trust you will:* Lead and develop the Trust Accounting team, driving performance and continuous improvement.* Oversee delivery of accounting services across engagements, including management accounts, financial statements, GST/BAS, and trust distributions.* Support strategic initiatives and key projects alongside senior leadership.* Maintain strong client relationships and uphold Perpetual’s market reputation.* Ensure operational excellence, quality assurance, and risk management.* Provide technical expertise for new business opportunities and manage onboarding of new trusts.* Stay current with accounting standards and tax developments, applying insights where relevant.* Manage service provider appointments integral to trust operations.**About you*** Relevant tertiary education (e.g. business / accounting / economics / finance degree).* Qualified CA/CPA* 3–5 years’ experience leading teams and managing operational processes.* Advanced financial reporting skills under AASB/IAS.* Strong client leadership and communication skills.* Knowledge of tax obligations for investment vehicles, Managed Investment Trusts (MITs), securitisation, and foreign investor withholding tax (advantageous).* Experience with institutional investor accounting services (advantageous).* Tax or BAS agent licence (advantageous).We love hearing from people who are inspired to shape the future with us.
