In this rewarding role, you’ll deliver high-quality clinical services to adults living within the Tamworth Regional Council area, supporting optimal health and wellbeing outcomes for patients, their families and carers. Responsibilities Provide assessment and intervention in the community, including discharge planning for Manilla and Barraba Hospitals and post-acute care interventions. Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, helping people remain safe and independent in their homes and communities. Manage your own waitlist, appointments, and workload while collaborating with supportive peers and senior mentors. About You You’re a proactive and organised clinician with strong planning, communication, and time management skills. You’re passionate about rural health care and ready to contribute your expertise in home modifications and equipment prescription to support older adults in achieving their goals. Requirements Occupational Therapist with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA. Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or appropriate visa allowing you to live and work in Australia. Commitment to a minimum 18‑month term or the agreed duration of the contract.
