We’re seeking a strategic and values-driven General Manager – Fundraising to join our Executive Team on a 14-month maternity leave contract , leading our national fundraising portfolio and team through an exciting period of growth and innovation. About the role Reporting directly to the CEO, this role leads a passionate and high-performing fundraising team across all revenue streams, including Major Donors & Trusts, Bequests, Individual Giving, and Community Fundraising. You’ll play a key role in driving Kidney Health Australia’s fundraising strategy, deepening donor engagement, and delivering growth aligned to our mission and long-term vision. Key responsibilities include: Leading the delivery of a multi-channel fundraising strategy to grow annual revenue and strengthen donor relationships. Overseeing high-value programs including Major Donors, Trusts & Foundations, and Bequests. Driving innovation and digital transformation across Individual Giving and Community Fundraising. Partnering with the CEO and Board on strategic funding opportunities, campaign development, and long-term sustainability. Leading and mentoring a skilled fundraising team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth. About you You’re an experienced fundraising leader with a proven ability to deliver growth, inspire teams, and build lasting relationships with donors and stakeholders. You bring: Senior-level experience across multiple fundraising streams, ideally in the not-for-profit or health sector. Strong leadership capability with a growth mindset and the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, comfortable operating at both the big‑picture and operational levels. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to engage Boards, philanthropists, and corporate partners. A collaborative, values‑led approach aligned with Kidney Health Australia’s mission to improve and save lives. Play a pivotal leadership role in a trusted national charity with a meaningful cause.
