About the role Part of the Strategic Communications team, responsible for brand and communication across internal and external channels, including marketing collateral, corporate documents, website, social platforms, significant events, and intranet communications. Responsibilities Create engaging social media posts, videos, and graphics that reflect IBA’s brand and values. Coordinate content calendars and schedule posts across Meta, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube. Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and report on performance. Support digital campaigns for key initiatives such as home ownership, business workshops, and investment. Work closely with First Nations stakeholders to ensure cultural integrity in all content. Qualifications Awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander societies and culture. Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms and producing content, including video/reels and graphics. Strong writing and storytelling skills with ability to adapt tone for diverse audiences. Excellent organisational and time‑management skills; able to meet multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of latest social media trends, SEO principles, and digital marketing strategies. Experience working in government, financial or not‑for‑profit sectors. Creative thinker with enthusiasm to develop new ideas. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Capability Awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander societies and culture. Ability to liaise and communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff.
