EL2 Senior Employment Lawyer (Special Counsel) - Major Commonwealth Agency Are you ready to take the reins on high-impact employment law matters for a major Commonwealth Government agency? The Role This is a senior-level contract opportunity at Special Counsel / Director level , offering the chance for high level employment law advisory services and practice within a dynamic, high-performing legal team. You will: Provide specialist advice on employment law in a Commonwealth context, including APS employment frameworks, enterprise agreements, and workplace relations. Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals. Manage strategic employment litigation and dispute resolution matters. Know and ensure compliance with the Commonwealth's Legal Services Directions. Employment law is the core focus, complemented by leadership responsibilities and stakeholder engagement at the highest level. Applicants must be Australian citizens, be qualified as a Lawyer and hold a Baseline security clearance or higher.
