What duties will I be expected to perform? The level and type of tasks and responsibilities will be relevant to the position being applied for with a key focus being on (but not limited to): Planning and implementation of a nutritional menu. Have a sound understanding of the Food Safety Standards. Have an understanding of children's nutritional needs, including management of allergies, cultural and dietary requirements. Creating and maintaining collaborative and respectful partnerships with children, families, colleagues and all stakeholders. Maintain a safe, hygienic and positive work environment. What Stepping Stone (SA) are looking for? We are looking for a permanent part-time Cook for our childcare centre at Evanston who: Holds an AQF Certificate III in Community Food Services or equivalent skills (preferred). Has experience in delivering a balanced menu for children across age groups (preferred). Holds or willing to hold a Working with Children Check. Holds or willing to hold a current Child Safe Environments. Holds or willing to hold a current Food Handling Certificate. Has an understanding of the Food Safety Standards and the Nutrition Australia Dietary Guidelines. The ability to contribute to a harmonious, professional and positive work culture.
