Contemporary Music Teacher Are you an aspiring Contemporary Music Teacher of one or more of Drums, Guitar, Keyboard or Singing? Would you enjoy teaching music in a progressive music program for mostly primary school aged children? About Creative Kidz On Stage Creative Kidz On Stage are leaders in Instrumental Music Education and have been inspiring young creative minds within Brisbane Catholic Schools for over 20 years. Positions Available Expressions of interest are invited for: Rock Band Teacher – Guitar, Drums, Keys, Singing Casual positions – all instrument areas ($60/hr) We are always looking for talented and experienced teachers to join our team of expanding permanent part‑time and full‑time employees. Job Responsibilities The successful applicant will have skills to teach mostly primary school music students in at least two of the following areas, with the ability to start beginning students in all areas of: Guitar Piano/Keyboard Singing Drums/Percussion Benefits Fixed working hours (38 hours per week full time) 10 weeks paid holidays per year for permanent positions A great team of like‑minded music teachers Permanent working hours between 7:30am – 3:30pm Requirements Proficient musicians and confident to lead Rock Bands Able to work with music technology Energetic with the ability to engage and inspire music students Reliable, consistent and organized Able to work unsupervised on school campus and have a strong work ethic Able to create a positive student learning environment Able to teach in small groups of up to 8 students Able to showcase student performances in a school environment Preferably hold a University Degree with a Music and/or Education focus Hold a valid Blue Card Application Deadline Please submit all applications by Friday, January 9, 2026.
