Claims Treatment Specialist - Pharmacy EML is a leading Workers Compensation and Personal Injury Claims Management business. Job Details Location: Sydney or Newcastle office Contract: Full‑time, 10‑month contract Work‑from‑home flexibility up to 3 days per week from month three, subject to performance and approval Responsibilities Develop and implement strategies to optimise medication and treatment management. Assess high‑risk medication use and provide clinical opinions on treatment strategies. Liaise with treatment providers to negotiate medication types, dosages, and utilisation. Educate injured workers, employers, and stakeholders on medication use and risks. Identify the need for and refer to external services such as Pharmacy Reviews or Independent Medical Examinations. Provide training and support to operational team members on medication management best practices. About You Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. Current registration in the professional field. Demonstrated experience in clinical practice. Well‑established knowledge of disability and injury management best practice. Understanding and experience in the personal injury industry, ideally with knowledge of workers’ compensation legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels. Benefits Vibrant, collaborative, innovative team culture.
