Apex Tool Group (ATG) is on the lookout for an experienced Accounts Payable and Reconciliation Officer to join our team This full-time position is based in our Alexandria head office and requires someone who will be responsible for managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and staff expenses. This is a great opportunity for an Accounts Payable and Reconciliation Officer that would relish the challenge and reward of working with well-known quality brands and a reputable organisation. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice handling, payments, and staff expenses. Maintain vendor records and ensure accurate onboarding, updates, and reconciliations. Prepare and process domestic and international payments, including urgent and manual transactions. Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure accurate SAP postings. Support month-end close, reporting, and audit preparation. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues and improve processes. Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Champion ATG values and foster a collaborative team culture. What You’ll Bring 3+ years’ experience in a similar Accounts Payable role. Intermediate–Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, SUMIFS, basic modelling). Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and report writing skills. Proven commitment to accuracy, deadlines, and best practices. Experience with SAP or demonstrated ability to learn new ERPs quickly. Preferred Skills: Basic knowledge of General Ledger reconciliations and coding. Continuous improvement mindset: identifying process gaps, documenting SOPs, and suggesting automation. Why Join ATG?
