We are looking for a Southern Sales Manager to lead and inspire our VIC based Culinary Sales team, while also managing key customer relationships across the southern region. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, shaping customer engagement strategies, and delivering on our ambitious business objectives. Reporting to the Commerical Director, you will coach and mentor a team of Account Managers, enabling them to deliver exceptional customer service, execute growth strategies, and expand our footprint in the market. At the same time, you will directly manage a portfolio of major customer accounts, ensuring strong partnerships and sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers, building capability and performance. Manage and grow key customer accounts, fostering deep and trusted relationships. Drive sales and revenue growth through strategic planning, execution, and pipeline management. Develop and implement business plans aligned with regional and company objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product development, supply chain, finance) to deliver on customer needs and new product launches. Negotiate contracts and manage budgets to maximise profitability. Provide clear reporting on sales performance, insights, and opportunities to leadership. Represent Flavour Makers at key customer meetings, innovation sessions, and industry events. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive service and problem-solving. About You 5+ years’ experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry. 3+ years’ experience leading a sales team, with proven success in coaching and development. Strong background in managing major commercial and/or retail accounts. Demonstrated ability to deliver revenue and margin growth. Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills. High commercial acumen, with experience in budget setting, forecasting, and P&L management. Strong understanding of NPD and cross-functional project delivery. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
