Posted 2 days ago The Company Our client is an AI‑powered SaaS company revolutionising how consulting and private‑equity teams make critical decisions using cutting‑edge generative AI technology. Their platform is rapidly gaining traction, and they are now looking to grow their already exceptional team. We’re looking for a hands‑on Technical Lead to guide and work alongside a talented team of high‑performing Backend Python Engineers. This role is ideal for someone who loves staying close to the code while providing technical leadership and driving best practices across the team. What You Will Do Leading by example through high‑quality, hands‑on backend development in Python Providing technical direction, setting engineering standards, and shaping architectural decisions Driving best practices across testing, reliability, security, and performance Collaborating closely with product and engineering stakeholders to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions Build scalable backend systems: Own key product features, designing robust and scalable solutions. Optimise cloud infrastructure: Collaborate on cloud architecture to ensure high availability and performance. Manage data systems: Develop and maintain data pipelines and storage with reliability and efficiency. Your Background Expert in Python (5+ years) with production experience in PostgreSQL Cloud experience: GCP preferred; AWS or Azure also acceptable Bonus Skills Proficient in FastAPI, SQLAlchemy 2.x, and documenting decisions through ADRs Golang Apache Kafka or cloud equivalents Join a company that’s already achieving major milestones and make some of the most impactful contributions of your career, all within a fully remote environment.
