About the Role - This is an office based role in Neerabup We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team in a casual role , with a clear pathway to permanent part-time (20- 25 hours per week) as the role develops. This position suits someone confident in payroll who also enjoys being part of a team. While payroll will be your core focus, training in bookkeeping will be provided so you can act as a backup and broaden your skills if needed. School hours are welcome , and flexibility is offered. Key Responsibilities End-to-end payroll processing (weekly, fortnightly, and monthly) Interpreting and applying modern awards and employment agreements Processing superannuation, allowances, overtime, and leave entitlements Managing Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting Payroll reconciliations and reporting Responding to payroll queries from clients and employees Assisting with bookkeeping tasks as a backup (training provided) Working collaboratively with the accounting and bookkeeping team About You Minimum 3 years’ experience in payroll processing (essential) Experience with Xero Payroll (Employment Hero highly regarded) Strong understanding of awards, overtime, and leave entitlements High attention to detail and confidentiality Friendly, approachable, and a team player Well organised with strong time management skills Willing to learn bookkeeping to support the wider team What We Offer Casual role with pathway to permanent part-time (20 - 25 hours per week) School-hours friendly and flexible working arrangements Bookkeeping training to expand your skillset Supportive and approachable team culture Modern systems and processes Office-based role in Neerabup Why Join SF Accounting?
