Senior Team Leader – Triage and Advisory Services NSW Department of Customer Service – Parramatta NSW Clerk Grade 9/10 with a salary range of $129,464 – $142,665 Ongoing role based in Parramatta or Gosford Due to the Christmas shutdown period, the Talent Team will be unavailable to respond to queries from 25 December 2025 to 9 January 2026. About the role Are you passionate about improving workplace safety and ensuring timely, fair regulatory responses? We are seeking a Senior Team Leader – Triage and Advisory Services to lead the triage and assessment of work health and safety (WHS) matters, including psychosocial risk and harm, providing expert advice and operational oversight. Responsibilities Lead a specialist team delivering consistent, high quality triage, assessment, and verification activities aligned with SafeWork NSW’s national triage framework and legislation. Provide subject‑matter expertise and coaching to frontline staff to build capability and ensure consistent, fair decision‑making. Monitor triage volumes, trends, and emerging issues to support regulatory intelligence and resource prioritisation. Ensure accurate data capture and compliance with privacy and governance obligations. Oversee the delivery of high‑level administrative and governance support for key operational functions for SafeWork NSW ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and contributing to enhanced regulatory intelligence and operational effectiveness. Enable effective resolution of outcomes and strengthen the organisation’s regulatory response, including psychological risk and harm. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service consistency and regulatory performance. About You You’re a detail‑oriented leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is committed to delivering high quality outcomes. Proven experience in regulatory or compliance environments, with strong knowledge of WHS frameworks. Ability to influence and coach teams to build capability and ensure consistent application of policies. Strong analytical skills to identify trends, manage priorities, and support operational planning. Excellent leadership skills to manage and develop people, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
