Senior Civil Engineer

:Apply principles and professional knowledge and judgement to plan and implement projects to the benefit of BG&E and our clients.Represent BG&E and instill confidence in our clients and external stakeholders of the value we bring.Build and foster internal and external relationships that lead to repeat work.Demonstrate effective communication, presentation, networking and consulting skills.Mentor less-experienced engineers to help develop their technical skills and knowledge.Identify and manage technical and commercial risks on behalf of BG&E and our clients.Take ownership of the final outcome on distinct projects / packages of work including management of resources and budgets, delegation of responsibilities and quality of deliverables.Engage in business operations and demonstrate an understanding the impact of works practices on the financial outcome of projects.Be passionate about learning and seek feedback to ensure professional and technical career development.About youHold a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or higher that is recognised by Engineers Australia.Have strong in-depth knowledge and understanding of Austroads, VicRoads and Australian Standards relevant to road and highway infrastructure design.
