Catering spans bistro, food truck, café, banquets, and contract caterers. The Role Lead multi-venue catering operations across a large, community-focused Club Group as the SJPBC Group Catering Manager. This full-time, senior leadership role is based at St Johns Park and reports directly to the Group Chief Executive Officer. You will oversee all catering operations across the Group’s venues, driving consistency, quality, and financial performance. The role focuses on optimising catering profitability, enhancing customer engagement, and building a strong, collaborative team culture. Key focus areas: Catering operations: Lead multi-venue catering, ensure consistent food, service and presentation, manage stock, purchasing and supplier relationships, and action customer feedback. Financial & procurement: Manage and analyse catering financials, grow revenue, and keep expenses and wage costs within budget. People leadership: Recruit, train, mentor and develop catering and kitchen teams, conduct performance reviews, and strengthen FOH–BOH collaboration. Compliance & risk: Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS, Club policies and industry regulations. Our ideal candidate Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management (advantageous). Proven leadership in catering, hospitality and/or multi-venue Clubs. Strong financial acumen across budgets, procurement and wage costs. Excellent communication, leadership and team development skills. Track record of driving customer-focused service and operational improvements. Experience with Jensen (POS) and Lightyear (accounts) is an advantage. What We Offer Competitive remuneration package. Complimentary meals on duty and uniform provided. Discretionary annual bonus.
