The Role You will join a fun, hardworking and energetic housekeeping team who are responsible for ensuring all hotel linen, employee uniforms and guest items are in good repair. Day to Day Provide a professional and courteous service at all times Count and check that Guest Laundry and Dry Cleaning items correspond with the completed Laundry & Dry Cleaning docket Liaise with Laundry Service Provider regarding laundry and dry‑cleaning procedures Efficiently use washing machines and dryers to launder guest items and staff uniform Perform handwashing of delicate or specialty items when necessary, ensuring careful handling and proper cleaning Allocate uniforms to new employees and inspect all uniforms to ensure they are well maintained, including hems, zippers, buttons, and other repairs Qualifications Good understanding of English to communicate with guests and staff No issues bending, lifting, or walking for long periods Flexible to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays Already have a valid visa to work in Australia Benefits Access to employee benefits such as complimentary shift meals, discounts for spa and all food and beverage outlets Complimentary and discounted Hyatt accommodation worldwide after three months in the role Access to internationally recognised learning and development programs and opportunities Access to an employee assistance programme Being part of a diverse and inclusive team, passionate about their work Company Culture & Values Our values of Empathy, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, Experimentation and Wellbeing are at the core of what we do.
