About The Opportunity As a Senior Social Worker within the Sustaining NSW Families (SNF) Program, you will provide specialised assessment and intervention to support safe, healthy relationships and strong early childhood development. The role operates within an interdisciplinary team that delivers sustained, targeted home-visiting support from pregnancy until a child reaches two years of age. There are three temporary part-time positions available within the team. In This Role You Will Provide therapeutic assessment, counselling and intervention to strengthen parent-child attachment and overall family functioning. Deliver complex case coordination, individual and family therapy, group work and referrals to support holistic care. Apply advanced clinical judgement within a dynamic multidisciplinary environment to manage diverse and complex presentations. Contribute to service development, evaluation, and interdisciplinary education to enhance Social Work practice. Provide supervision, guidance and clinical leadership to junior Social Work staff and students. For more information about this role, please view the Position Description. About You A recognised Social Work degree and eligibility for AASW membership. Advanced knowledge of psycho-social and attachment issues affecting families in the perinatal and early childhood period. Demonstrated experience delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions with vulnerable and complex families. Proven ability to provide leadership, clinical supervision and support within a multidisciplinary service environment. Strong organisational, communication and documentation skills with the capacity to manage competing clinical demands.
