Senior Project Officer Valuations and Acquisitions

In this role, you'll:
Take charge of valuations and negotiations for property acquisition, ensuring alignment with the needs of Transport for NSW projects. Your responsibilities encompass undertaking valuations and negotiations, guaranteeing timely access to properties essential for project execution. You'll meticulously adhere to established policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements, meticulously preparing submissions to uphold the integrity of the acquisition process. Collaborating closely with team members, surveyors, and other property staff, you'll ensure that purchase agreements accurately reflect project conditions, facilitating smooth acquisition processes.
You'll navigate advising across multiple projects, managing competing deadlines, and independently prioritizing tasks. Your role demands unwavering integrity to ensure fair outcomes, coupled with a commitment to courteous and respectful communication. Efficiently coordinating statutory processes for numerous projects simultaneously, you'll meet statewide infrastructure project and contractual obligations with precision and effectiveness.

About you
You are an experienced real estate valuation professional with a proven track record in land acquisition. Your expertise spans legislative procedures, including the Roads Act 1993 and the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991, ensuring seamless navigation of compulsory land acquisition processes for government infrastructure projects. With a keen eye for detail, you excel in communicating effectively, managing complex issues with empathy, and coordinating high-volume transactions efficiently, meeting tight deadlines while upholding quality standards.
Your qualifications as a recognized real estate valuer, endorsed by the Australian Property Institute, coupled with your active membership in professional bodies like the Australian Valuers Institute or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, underscore your commitment to excellence in valuation practices and your ability to deliver results in demanding environments.
