Overview Join to apply for the Function Wait Staff Casual role at CATERING HQ . Catering HQ is looking for proactive Function Wait Staff to join our dedicated team at Castle Hill RSL, Club Parramatta and Lynwood Country Club. Duties & Responsibilities Communicate with co-workers and management to solve problems and improve quality and service Provide table service, canapé style or as the client requires. Event space set up and pack down. Assist in the opening and/or closing of the catering department as per the company checklist guidelines. Initiate dialogue and develop rapport with customers by learning their names, favourite drinks and food items Understand and anticipate customer needs and aim to exceed these requirements Assist in reaching business goals and objectives as set out by management Key Qualities Experience in a similar role is ideal Have a strong customer service focus Professional, upbeat and friendly personality Exceptional attention to detail Positive and flexible attitude Highest level of presentation and grooming standards Confidence to take charge and own the result, yet humble enough to listen and learn Honest and results focused - able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed Innovative - proven experience of genuinely implementing new ideas Able to follow manual handling procedures correctly Why Join Us?
