As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and creating a positive dining experience for our customers. We invite you to join our extensive crew within the restaurant, beer garden and function spaces at Masonmill, a unique and picturesque venue nestled in the heart of the Perth Hills. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our restaurant's success. Permanent roles available to suitable candidates. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers (over 18 years only). Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Ensure that all bar equipment is properly maintained and functioning. Greet and engage with customers, taking their orders and providing recommendations. Monitor and manage bar inventory, restocking as necessary (over 18 years only). Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations. Follow company policies and procedures regarding the responsible service of alcohol (over 18 years only). Handle cash and process payments accurately. Greet and seat customers, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Take customer orders and relay them accurately to the kitchen. Serve food and beverages promptly and with exceptional presentation. Attend to customer needs throughout their dining experience, providing additional assistance and fulfilling special requests. Clear and clean tables, reset for new customers, and maintain cleanliness of the dining area. Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service. Process customer payments and provide excellent customer service. Provide high quality function food and beverage service to weddings and corporate functions. Prepare high quality coffee for our customers (on-site barista training provided if required). Requirements Previous experience as bar or wait staff preferred, but training will be provided for the right individual. Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA for over 18 years). Rights to work in Australia. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Knowledge of food and beverage service standards. Ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
