Vivid Chartered Accountants – Canberra ACT We're looking for a full-time experienced Senior Accountant/Manager to join our team The role Providing taxation, accounting & business compliance work for a variety of clients of varying size, industry, and entity type. This role includes, but is not limited to, preparation of Income Tax Returns, Financial Statements, Activity Statements, FBT returns, reviewing of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns, and liaising directly with clients and external stakeholders. About you Minimum 3 years accounting experience in business services and tax Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build great rapport with staff and clients alike High level of accuracy and attention to detail is vital Strong organisational skills Prior experience reviewing junior accountant compliance work is highly desirable Technical skills Strong knowledge of Australian income tax Experience with the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships Experience with Xero or an understanding of the software is preferable but not essential – ability to prepare financial statements, as well as assist our clients using Xero. Experience with SMSFs is favourable but not essential – ability to prepare financial statements and tax returns for Self-Managed Superannuation Funds Proficient in Microsoft office suite Qualification Qualification in Accounting About our firm We are extremely proud to be the most highly rated accounting firm in Canberra.
