About the Role Reporting to the GM Corporate, the Accountant will support various day-to-day aspects of the Finance function at AHA. This is a hands-on, number-crunching role ideal for experienced bookkeepers or accountants who excel at financial management and want to make an immediate impact. You’ll be responsible for accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and supporting project accounting and finance administration. Key Responsibilities Apply financial concepts and practices to all finance work activities Contribute data for financial spreadsheets, charts, and reports Assist in payroll, tax submissions, and reporting Provide accounts receivable and accounts payable services Perform reconciliation of bank and other balances Prepare accounts up to trial balance for monthly and annual reporting Support project delivery with project administration and accounting Contribute to finance and accounting policies and procedures Skills and Experience Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, or extensive relevant experience Working understanding of accounting systems and financial transactions High level of service and support to stakeholders Strong time management, organisational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team Proficient in Microsoft Teams, office software, and intermediate Excel Qualifications in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or similar Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting packages Why Join Us?
