Teacher Learning and Support (0.6 FTE) - Ferncourt Public School Ferncourt Public School is located in the Inner West of Sydney, as part of the Marrickville Network of Schools. From the historic site of Ferncourt PS, quality education has been provided for over 100 years and our school remains committed to the achievement, growth, and wellbeing of all our students. The school has a current enrolment of 291 students across grades Kindergarten to Year 6. Twelve students identify as being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and 34% of our students identify as having a language background other than English. From across our school populace, 24 languages are identified as being home languages for our students. At Ferncourt Public School, we foster a collaborative, welcoming and inclusive school environment through a commitment to high expectations, quality teaching and a culture of continuous improvement. Selection Criteria Approval to teach with demonstrated experience in providing effective learning and support interventions for students with diverse educational needs across Kindergarten to Year 6, including strategies to challenge and enrich high potential and gifted learners. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with classroom teachers, families and education professionals to implement inclusive teaching practices and differentiated learning practices that address the full spectrum of student abilities. Proven experience in the day-to-day development and implementation of Personalised Learning and Support Plans (PLaSPs) with demonstrated ability to utilise data to plan for the effective individualised support of students. Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity. Special Notes This is a permanent part-time position of 3 per week, 0.6 FTE (full time equivalent). Applicants are to include details of their WWCC clearance number as part of this application.
