Join to apply for the Project Manager - Data Projects role at Bendigo Advertiser . 11‑month day‑rate contract. Hybrid working with 3 days on site in Newcastle. Drive the decommissioning of a legacy analytics platform and transition data and reporting into a modern cloud environment. Responsibilities Lead delivery across rebuild, migration, cutover, and decommissioning phases. Manage vendor relationships and ensure alignment with delivery outcomes. Coordinate multiple technical squads working within a hybrid governance model. Oversee schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, and budget. Maintain consistent communication and alignment with business users and leadership. Support disciplined planning and documentation using Jira and Confluence. Qualifications Strong background in data engineering, data migration, or analytics‑focused projects. Experience delivering complex technical work across multi‑squad environments. Highly structured, detail‑oriented, and schedule‑driven. Proficient in Jira and Confluence. Confident stakeholder manager – able to navigate challenging conversations and maintain momentum. Pragmatic, outcomes‑focused, and comfortable driving delivery. Contract Details 11‑month day‑rate contract. Hybrid working: 3 days onsite in Newcastle, 2 days WFH. Engagement: Day rate contract.
