Care Support Worker

Overview Ready to make a difference as a Care Support Worker? This role supports clients living with neurological conditions at the City Beach Respite Accommodation facility in a warm, homely environment. The facility is near the beach and local amenities, and is staffed by a welcoming team. Clients typically stay for one or two weeks to rest and recouperate. Responsibilities Providing personal care (e.g., showering and dressing) to promote health and well-being. Medication administration and assistance. Meal preparation and other household duties (the small stuff makes a huge difference). Working to meet the unique needs of the client by following their individualized care plans and helping them achieve their defined goals. Mandatory qualifications NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain). Provide First Aid certificate - less than 12 months old (we can help you if not). Preferred qualifications Experience in a similar role—disability or aged care support. A positive attitude (makes a huge difference). A Certificate III in a relevant discipline.
