Turosi Pty Ltd is a privately owned Company with facilities in Victoria, QLD and NSW, providing a full range of raw and cooked food solutions across a range of proteins to the retail and food service sectors. We are one of the largest poultry processors in Australia, supplying major brands across QSR/FCD, General Trade & Retail markets. With a business that is vertically integrated, from breeding to processing to manufacturing, Turosi has over 1400 passionate employees in a business that is going through a significant growth phase. We are looking to recruit an energetic and motivated Maintenance Supervisor (Hands on) for afternoon shift. This is a weekly paid role which will be based at our Broadmeadows further processing facility in Victoria. Monday to Friday / Tuesday to Saturday, weekend work as required. Pay rate: $50 to $55 Ordinary hours: 1 am to 12 am Responsibilities Provide support to the Engineering Manager and Production team by delivering quality and efficient maintenance services during planned maintenance, breakdowns and the installation of new plant and equipment. Lead and be a hands‑on supervisor to the afternoon team. Control costs, schedule and develop maintenance activities. Execute and adhere to Preventative Maintenance programs. Utilise a computer‑based Maintenance Management System. Work overtime and weekends as required. Qualifications & Experience Be hands‑on with 3+ years industry experience in a supervisory role. Thorough understanding of HACCP, GMP and Australian Standards. Proven fault‑finding skills and the ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment. Strong commitment to identify and drive continuous improvement. A demonstrated commitment to health and safety. Ability to drive positive change, influence and support all stakeholders. Ability to execute and adhere to Preventative Maintenance programs. Ability to utilise a computer‑based Maintenance Management System. Control costs, scheduling & development of maintenance activities. Fabrication skills (MIG, TIG and ARC welding – desirable). Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
