Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight $83,541 - $99,136 pa + 12% super + leave loading (Level 3-5) The appointed wage level will be dependent upon the successful candidate's level of experience, skills and qualifications. 72.5 hour fortnight Location: Caboolture Join City of Moreton Bay as an Investigations Officer, and deliver public safety outcomes for the City of Moreton Bay As an Investigations Officer you will: Manage and undertake comprehensive investigations and initiate compliance actions to resolve a variety of legislative breaches in relation to dog attacks, regulated dog compliance, illegal waste dumping and significant alteration of public land offences Provide expert customer service and education, engaging with a variety of stakeholders Provide high quality reports & briefs of evidence as well as representing the Council before the Magistrates Court & the QCAT Tribunals as required Click here to view position description. About you We are seeking candidates with experience in undertaking investigations that have required significant application, interpretation and enforcement of legislation (Local Laws and State Legislation). You will be a strong and customer focused communicator, well versed will representing in a professional and courteous manner, which incorporates our values and delivers service outcomes that meet the needs of a diverse range of audiences. You will have effective time management skills and decision-making abilities to be able to work within timeframes and deadlines and within a regulatory team environment. Successful candidates will hold (or have the ability to obtain) a Certificate IV in Government (Investigations or Regulatory Services) or similar discipline and have strong verbal and written skills required to prepare and represent Council at legal proceedings.
