SBC is a leading provider of OH&S, insurance, risk management and case management systems in Australia, is currently seeking a Finance and Admin Officer to join our Brisbane CBD office. SBC has offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Auckland, and clients throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific. The Role The successful candidate will play a vital role in our Finance Team with responsibilities to include: Assess and process both accounts payable and receivable data and details. Analyse and the preparation of purchase orders, general and expense accounts. Tracking and management of periodic and ongoing invoicing. Preparation of financial reports as requested. Management of asset and software licences. Manage supplier relationships including problem solving issues. Ensure the accuracy and review of financial data processed. Maintenance of the purchasing and tracking procedures for inventory. Assist in supporting the smooth operation of our Australian and NZ offices. Assisting with automation of our financial procedures. Other ad-hoc administration and financial tasks as required. Key Selection Criteria Relevant experience (minimum 4 years) in a similar role within Australia Experience with different accounting software packages. Excellent organisation and people liaison skills. Good analytical, data entry, and time management skills. Intermediate or greater Microsoft Word and Excel skills. You will possess excellent written skills. Demonstrated IT skills across a range of software package. Ability to handle supplier enquiries/issues in a professional manner. Ability to track and manage tasks and manage your time effectively. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication, both verbal and written skills. A ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to problem solve issues with integrity, accountability and transparency.
