Senior Test Manager About the role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Manager to join Cognizant’s delivery team supporting a bank. This role requires strong leadership in test management, with proven expertise in General Ledger (GL) systems and financial domain testing. The successful candidate will oversee end‑to‑end test strategy, planning, execution, and stakeholder management for critical finance transformation programs. Mandatory Skills & Experience 6+ years in Test Management with large‑scale enterprise programmes. Strong GL (General Ledger) domain expertise in banking/financial services. Hands‑on experience with test tools such as HP ALM, JIRA or similar. Proven leadership in managing cross‑functional test teams. Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting. Key Responsibilities Test Strategy & Planning: Define and implement comprehensive test strategies aligned with project objectives. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of test analysts and automation engineers. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with bank stakeholders to ensure quality delivery. GL System Testing: Drive functional and integration testing for General Ledger applications. Risk & Issue Management: Identify, track, and mitigate testing risks across multiple streams. Reporting & Governance: Provide clear test progress reports, metrics, dashboards to senior leadership. Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices in test automation, defect management and process optimisation.
