CCLHD - CAMHS Youth Mental Health Initiative **Employment Type:** Permanent Full Time, Temporary Full Time and Temporary Part Time (possible contract end date 30 June 2027) Position Classification: Health Clinician Level 3 Remuneration: Depending upon qualification Hours Per Week: Up to 38 hours per week Location: headspace Gosford, headspace Wyong and headspace Lake Haven Requisition ID: REQ Applications Close: Sunday, 30 November 2025 at 11:59 PM About the Role As a Youth Mental Health Clinician you will: Provide trauma‑informed, recovery‑oriented assessment and therapy to young people experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges. Deliver assertive outreach and intensive case management to improve access and engagement. Involve families and carers meaningfully in assessment, care planning, and review. Collaborate closely with schools, GPs, hospitals, community services and other stakeholders to support holistic care. Participate in case conferences, multidisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning. Maintain accurate, high‑standard clinical documentation and adhere to privacy, consent and legal guidelines. Contribute to service development, quality improvement and staff education initiatives. Enjoy a consistent Monday‑Friday schedule, supporting work/life balance. About You A relevant tertiary qualification and current registration (e.g. AHPRA or professional association membership). Minimum 3 years’ post‑graduate/registration clinical experience working in child and adolescent mental health or a related field. A current Australian Driver’s Licence. A current Working With Children Check and National Police Check. Category A immunisation status. Strong communication, assessment and care planning skills. A trauma‑informed, strengths‑based approach to working with young people and families. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
