The Opportunity The Senior Manager, Campaigns is accountable for business growth along campaign lines within the Defence market. The role collaborates with Senior Director Strategy, Senior Director S&I, Director Growth and Campaigns, and Operational Unit Directors to harness growth and deliver opportunities. Program Delivery Lead people, external engagement, and programs in accordance with business policies, commercial needs, quality, and technical assurance requirements. Support from ADSS enabling functions and business partners. Business Growth Develop, implement, and deliver campaign plans across key vectors for the ADSS business. Strengthen relationships with senior customers, lead external engagement, undertake market assessment, and capture key opportunities. Integrate global KBR technology and solutions into our offering when relevant. Responsibilities Identify, schedule, plan, and win major capability and upgrade projects in the Defence market aligned to the ADSS strategy. Implement Campaign Plans in alignment with strategic growth vectors and operational unit growth. Ensure operational, administrative, quality, governance, and compliance functions are properly executed. Engage senior customers to strengthen relationships and anticipate issues. Develop relationships and collaborate with industry partners to win and deliver programs. Demonstrate commercial acumen and emotional intelligence in execution of duties. Leverage global KBR technology and solutions into programs when relevant. Perform delegated duties as required. Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience Tertiary qualifications in a technical field, business, marketing, or another Defence-relevant domain. At least 5 years of leadership experience in a Defence business focused on growth functions such as strategy, business development, or capture. Deep understanding of the Australian Defence acquisition and capability lifecycles. Strategic thinking ability and experience developing business plans, growth strategies, and identifying new markets. Experience leading and developing teams, managing risk, and accountability for financial outcomes. Exceptional networking skills with proven experience engaging customers, industry partners, and academia experts. Outstanding communication skills and ability to present business cases, negotiate contracts, and collaborate internally and externally. Business development, delivery, financial, and commercial acumen to win and deliver major contract awards. Critical thinking techniques to evaluate opportunities, assess risks, and make informed decisions. Hold an Australian Government security clearance or demonstrate ability to be granted one. Desirable MBA or other postgraduate study in a related field. P&L or program/project management experience.
