Legal Counsel: Financial Services

About your new employer: Our client is a leading global provider of financial information services , delivering ratings, research, data and analytics. About the role: Be involved in a broad range of legal matters across the Asia-Pacific, from Australia, Hong Kong, South Korea, China and Japan, etc. Sole Legal position in Sydney but working closely with APAC and reporting to NYC Work on matters from litigation, regulatory, subscription/licensing, employee relations ratings, contracts, and company secretarial matters. Liaise and interact with other teams within the company, like product sales function, HR, business development and accounts. Conduct regulatory and licensing reviews across multiple jurisdictions Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and subscription agreements The ideal candidate: Legal Counsel or Senior Associate , with at least 6+ PQE , coming out of/or with prior top-tier experience. FSR and/or Banking & Finance background ideal; Excellent communication skills, allowing for easy communication between in‑house counsels and external stakeholders. Ability to handle and prioritise a diverse range of matters and be flexible to client requests.
