Digital & Search Marketing (Marketing & Communications)Full timeAdd expected salary to your profile for insightsWe’re a talented bunch of creatives and developers, designers, content makers, strategists, and technologists: our difference is our strength.A unique blend of specialists that collaborate as one, constantly introducing new perspectives to the problems we solve.We strive to deliver highly effective, intelligent work.We scrutinise insight, to find proof.To create the best conditions for success.To take risks that aren't risky at all.To leave nothing to chance.And we’re on the hunt for a talented SEO Director to join our buzzing (and flourishing) Search Engine Optimisation teamWorking alongside the wider SEO team, you’ll create & deliver robust SEO solutions to support our enterprise clients and their complex challenges.Day to day you’ll:• Spearhead the creation and execution of comprehensive, long-term SEO strategies• Perform thorough site audits to identifying opportunities to grow traffic• Lead, manage, and mentor junior SEO team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous professional growth.• Oversee the SEO strategies for key accounts, ensuring they meet and exceed performance benchmarks.• Act as the primary advocate for SEO within the organisation. Lead educational initiatives to raise awareness and understanding of SEO's role in the broader digital strategy among all relevant teams.• Continuously identify and implement innovative SEO solutions and practices.• Ensure all SEO-related tools and software are current, fully functional, and optimally utilised across the team.• Manage budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring they are allocated effectively to achieve the best possible SEO outcomes and maximise ROI.• Proactively address and resolve complex SEO challenges and issues, including offering rapid responses to algorithm updates. Identify and mitigate churn risk factors across SEO clients.• Play a key role in SEO and MMM meetings, presenting strategic insights, progress reports, and contributions that highlight the impact and value of SEO initiatives.• Recruit, onboard, and develop top SEO talent to ensure a high-performance team.• Collaborate closely with other marketing channels to create an integrated and cohesive digital strategy.• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of SEO efforts and make data-driven decisions.We are looking for:• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business• 8+ years experience in SEO• Proven track record of defining SEO strategy and driving revenue-focused organic growth.• Hands-on experience with SEO & web analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming frog• Strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO techniques and their impact on organic performance• Commercially minded and strategic thinker accustomed to evaluating new opportunities, guiding new website build/migration investments, and making data-driven decisions• Proven excellence in written and verbal communication, creativity, problem-solving, teamwork and leadership• Experience in leading and mentoring SEO teams, promoting continuous professional growth• Ability to stay ahead of market trends and search engine algorithm changes to maintain a competitive edge• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively• Experience collaborating with other marketing channels to create an integrated and cohesive digital strategy• Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencersIn return we’ll give you:• A commitment to develop you and your career aspirations.• A no blame culture.• A focus on diversity & inclusion, sustainability, and mental wellbeing.• A brand new Melbourne office in the heart of the CBD, close to restaurants, bars & all Melbourne has to offer• A hybrid working model.• A fully stocked beer and wine fridge, impromptu team lunches, all team socials 3x a year where we’ll fly you up to HQ in Sydney, including a cracking end of year party.• Enviable benefits such aso Remote working; work from another time zone for up to 8 weeks per yearo Birthday leaveo A wellbeing day each yearSo, if you’re a passionate SEO Director who can juggle multiple briefs/competing deadlines, can manage their own workload and priorities, is looking for a change of scene and wants to grow in unison with us - Jaywing would love to hear from youJaywing are committed to building an inclusive and diverse culture, so if you’re doubting whether to apply for this role because you don’t meet every single requirement, we encourage you to still do so, there may be other opportunities with us where you are in fact the perfect candidate.Report this job advert
