Online Bilingual Maths/Sciences Tutors for Year 1-12 About Us: We are an online-based tutoring company specializing in one-on-one personalized virtual teaching, with over 300 teachers registered. Our comprehensive range of programs includes Year 11-12 exam preparation for VCE, WACE, QCE, and SACE, Year 1-10 English Writing and Reading, Maths, Sciences, Scholarship and Selective Entry school exams. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one sessions to students. Assist students with understanding subject material, homework, and exam preparation. Follow customized lesson plans to meet individual student needs. Track and report student progress. Offer motivational support and academic guidance. We now also offer opportunities for in-person sessions at student homes or libraries. Requirements It is crucial for our teachers to possess HIGHLY PROFICIENT fluency in Mandarin due to our student demographic. Strong knowledge and expertise in Maths/ Sciences subjects. A degree in teaching or education is highly advantageous but not essential. Experience teaching in local schools is a strong asset. Reliability with a consistent schedule and commitment to professional teaching. Stable Internet connection and great with technology. Flexibility in hours, location, and time commitment. On-time payments from $30 to $40 per hour (commensurate with experience and year level taught). Friendly and disciplined students. Ongoing support and training. Valuable resume-building and teaching experience. What we provide We match you with suitable students and take care of all the related hassle, so you can focus on what you're awesome at - teaching. Our Teaching Assistants manage lesson scheduling for you with parents. Our Teaching Assistants can help with marking student homework with Answer keys. Our Learning Coordinator communicates with parents about student progress and learning plans. Access to tailored Learning Materials and Student Learning Plans.
