System Administrator with Microsoft 365 Experience We are seeking a Microsoft 365 Engineer with strong customer service skills and demonstrable work ethic. Your role will focus on Microsoft 365 management for more than 1000 users, and will focus on the full Microsoft 365 suite. The eligible candidates will be able to administer applications such as Defender, Sharepoint and Entra in a Hybrid Exchange environment. Remote support and troubleshooting in a busy team environment will be part of your daily work-life. Requirements Excellent customer service skills and multi‑tasking skills Customer focus and attention to detail Must work on schedule and be punctual and occasionally be prepared for longer working hours as required Current valid Australian driver’s license Skills & Experience Microsoft 365 technologies, in particular Hybrid Exchange Configuration Endpoint Manager – Intune MDM configurations for Apple and Android Defender suite – configuration and maintenance Entra (advanced security knowledge, identity & access management & information protection) SharePoint Online (intranet management & document libraries) Teams – inclusive of Teams Calling Management and configuration of Microsoft SCCM Knowledge of LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, IPSec, NAT, VPN, TLS and other network protocols Expertise in fault finding and problem diagnosis for infrastructure and network issues Advanced troubleshooting of Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022 Advanced troubleshooting of Windows Desktop 10 & 11 Maintaining and implementing security recommendations based on the prevention, detection and response frameworks such as the Essential Eight and penetration tests whilst constantly hardening the cybersecurity posture and overall security improvements Vulnerability management Coherent cyber hygiene practices and undertake scheduled maintenance tasks such as Monthly loading of updates to all servers – completed after hours Managing deployment of monthly updates to workstations and other devices L2 sysadmin operational works including helpdesk & L1 assistance Member of the incident response team Application management Member of the after‑hours support roster IT project involvement and implementation What you bring to the table? A strong communicator, you will be able to relay information in a clear and concise manner, whether by email, over the phone or in person. You will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to learn and apply problem‑solving techniques. A friendly manner and the willingness to help users/clients with numerous IT issues.
