System Administrator – People Applications Location: Port Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Hybrid (3 days onsite). 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Must be Australian citizen for NV1 clearance. Salary: AU$110,000–130,000 incl super. Perks: Hybrid flexibility, free parking, opportunity to move to permanent role or extension as group expands and merges with other entities. We are a small, high‑impact team supporting 45 users across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, AD, WatchGuard, and SharePoint. You’ll handle end‑to‑end ICT operations (L1–L4), including system admin, cybersecurity, and ISM / ASD Essential Eight compliance. What You’ll Do Manage Microsoft 365, Intune, Defender, AD, and Windows Server Implement Essential Eight & ISM security controls Automate deployments, backups, and endpoint management Provide technical support and maintain secure infrastructure You’ll Bring 5+ years’ experience in system administration or ICT infrastructure (L1–L4) Strong hands‑on skills across Microsoft 365 E5, Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Sentinel & Purview Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell & Hyper‑V Experience managing Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams & MS SQL Server Solid understanding of ASD Essential Eight & ACSC ISM security frameworks Excellent documentation, communication & audit reporting skills Proven ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes Australian citizenship (eligible for NV1 clearance – sponsored post‑hire) Desirable Experience in critical‑infrastructure environments Exposure to SOC/SIEM, incident response & threat analysis Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST 800‑53 or DISP frameworks If you’re keen to learn more, please email or call .
