Key Responsibilities Undertake scheduled, planned and corrective maintenance to fixed plant and machinery with the focus on preventing downtime and keeping equipment running smoothly and reliably. Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to maintain optimal production output. Familiar with different types of couplings. Replace conveyor gearbox, motor and pulley couplings and bearings. Carry out repair action required to manufacturer's specifications and relevant Australian standards. Isolate equipment and follow strict safety and maintenance procedures. Conduct mechanical fitting, welding, and basic fabrication work. Assist with the installation, commissioning, and upgrades of machinery. Record accurate maintenance tasks and reports. Contribute to continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives. Uphold high standards of safety, housekeeping, and waste minimization. Essential Requirements for role 24 months minimum solid experience with fixed plant maintenance, conveyor system maintenance preferable. Reliable and take pride of the work. Experienced in Hydraulic tech, GBX, motor, pulley replacement/refurbishment in conveyor system. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Full Australian Work Rights. Mechanical Trade Qualification (Minimum of Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical). White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space. Ability to provide a satisfactory National Police Check certificate. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment & DAS. High risk licence: EWP, LF, DG, IR, CN or Overhead crane. Days, Nights and Weekends Available.
