Job Overview This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Murex Front Office Development team and work closely with traders to build and enhance trading capabilities and related integrations. In this role you gain direct exposure to fast‑paced trading environments and have opportunities to take ownership of this space, with substantial career growth. The role focuses on Global Markets Rates and Fixed Income products, offering diverse opportunities in a dynamic, market‑leading trading division. Responsibilities Deliver strategic build‑out of front‑office configuration and integration components in Murex. Optimise, support, and upgrade trading platform pricing and integration components in response to market changes. Collaborate with Rates and Fixed Income traders to understand and translate requirements. Support and deploy production artefacts. Contribute to an agile team culture through test automation, continuous deployment, and scrum best practice. Participate in on‑call rosters to resolve critical issues and ensure seamless operation of systems, products, and platforms. Qualifications Strong experience as a Murex Front Office Developer with deep understanding of the platform or other complex trading technologies. Demonstrable experience working within Global Markets Murex space within IT. Combination of functional and technical knowledge, ideally focusing on Front‑Office configuration (new product configuration, etradepad, trading strategies, pre‑trade configuration, pricing, curves & Market Data) and/or Integration (MxML, pre‑trade, MxOpenConnect, RTBS/MDRS). Functional expertise across Front Office (Rates, Equities, Commodities, Fixed Income, Credit, FXMM, FX Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives). In‑depth knowledge of the Murex platform, including architecture, modules, and functionalities. Ability to capture detailed requirements, engage stakeholders, and apply strong Financial Markets knowledge. Troubleshooting and resolution skills for Murex platform performance and functionality. Supporting technical skills such as SQL, Unix, scripting, CI/CD, AWS (certifications highly regarded).
