We are looking for a full‑time cleaner to join our growing team at Marsden State School. This is a split‑shift position, working 4 am‑8 am and 2 pm‑6 pm, five days a week. About The Role We are seeking a dedicated and reliable cleaner to join our team in a permanent, full‑time capacity. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, offices, and common areas, including windows, desks, and floors. Maintaining and cleaning toilet facilities, sick bays, and other hygiene‑sensitive areas. Disposing of rubbish and ensuring litter control across the school grounds. Performing security tasks such as locking and unlocking buildings and managing security systems. Reporting safety or maintenance concerns to the Principal or Business Manager. About You Previous cleaning experience in a school or similar environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills for liaising with school staff and reporting concerns. A positive and proactive attitude towards work.
