Finance Manager (Retail & eCommerce) Location: West Hoxton, NSW (Western Sydney), near the new Sydney International Airport. This full‑time, onsite role requires hands‑on leadership and offers onsite parking. Role Description We are seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to drive business performance and support growth initiatives across both physical and digital channels. You will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing the financial framework of our expanding operations, focusing on retail margin management, logistics cost control, and workforce productivity in a dynamic retail/trading environment. Core Responsibilities Financial Integrity: Assume full accountability for the trial balance and financial integrity of the business. Planning & Reporting: Prepare comprehensive budgets and forecasts, oversee AP/AR and prepare short‑term cash flow forecasts. Management Accounts: Produce monthly management accounts, conduct thorough variance analysis, and deliver group reporting. Commercial Analysis: Deliver detailed analysis and recommendations on margins, supplier rebates, logistics costs, and workforce productivity. Process Improvement: Drive process improvements in stock management, procurement, and fulfilment. Digital Focus: Monitor and report on eCommerce KPIs (conversion rates, basket size, online sales growth) and evaluate digital marketing metrics (campaign ROI, customer acquisition costs). Leadership: Directly manage and mentor the finance team and engage stakeholders up to board level. Skills & Experience Sector Experience: Proven experience in retail, distribution, logistics, and/or eCommerce businesses. Systems: Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with analytical tools such as Power BI. Preference for experience with Microsoft Business Central (or Navision) and digital platforms such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, and Shopify. Soft Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels. Exceptional time management, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. Qualifications: CPA/CA qualification is highly regarded.
