The Role Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, this role partners across the organisation to provide hands‑on HR support and advisory guidance across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll work closely with leaders and employees to deliver people solutions that are practical, values‑led and aligned to organisational goals. Key responsibilities include: Providing advice on performance management, employee relations and policy interpretation Supporting leaders with capability uplift, change initiatives and talent development Contributing to key projects such as manager induction design and process improvement Producing people metrics, insights and reporting to support decision‑making Collaborating with P&C peers to deliver consistent and impactful HR support Skills & Experience Experience in a generalist HR Business Partner or Senior Advisor role Strong stakeholder and relationship‑building skills Confidence to provide advice in a multi‑award environment The ability to balance operational delivery with project work A values‑driven approach with genuine care for people and community Why You’ll Love It Purpose‑driven organisation where your work truly matters Hybrid working ( 3days onsite + WFH) Flexibility to work .8 or .9 FTE (happy to discuss) Supportive, down‑to‑earth culture Additional gifted leave over the Christmas shutdown period Apply At The Next Step, we embrace individuality and differences in gender, age, ethnicity, race, cultural background, disability, faith and sexual orientation.
