Overview We are seeking a Junior Developer to join our growing development team and support the design, creation, and maintenance of software applications. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, improve their technical skills, and collaborate on real-world development projects. You will work under the guidance of senior developers and contribute to coding tasks, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Location and Type Location: Australia Employment Type: Full-time / Hybrid Level: Junior / Entry-Level Responsibilities Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications Write clean and efficient code following best practices Collaborate with senior developers to understand project requirements Troubleshoot issues and support debugging activities Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions Prepare simple documentation for features, updates, and fixes Support integration, deployment, and version control processes Work with cross-functional teams to deliver development tasks on schedule Continuously learn new technologies, frameworks, and development tools Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, PHP) Familiarity with front-end or back-end frameworks such as React, Node.js, Django, .NET, or similar Understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL) Knowledge of version control systems such as Git Strong problem-solving and logical-thinking abilities Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional development environment Eligible to work in Australia Preferred Skills (Optional) Experience with API integration or basic REST principles Exposure to cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Familiarity with Agile methodologies Basic understanding of CI/CD tools or DevOps workflows Previous internship or project experience in software development What We Offer Mentorship and training from experienced developers Opportunities to work on real-world applications and technical projects Career development pathways within the engineering team Competitive salary and benefits package Hybrid working options depending on business needs Supportive and collaborative team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
