This Role We’re looking for a hands‑on Senior Content Creative – a motion and video editing guru with proven in‑house experience at a fast‑growing brand. Someone who’s built and scaled high‑volume performance video operations before and is ready to do it again within Hero Collective, our in‑house creative team. You know the difference between brand‑building creative and thumb‑stopping content that converts. You get that beautiful doesn’t always mean effective, and that a great idea only matters if it delivers results. The way you approach performance creative is data‑led, insight‑fuelled, and designed to be tested, tweaked and scaled. You’ll live in the world of paid ads, iterating quickly, learning from every scroll and swipe, and making creative that works hard. From building creative systems and production workflows to collaborating with copywriters, growth marketers and designers, you’ll help us scale performance content that not only looks the part, but delivers real business impact. You can set up smart, scalable ways of working in your sleep – and still wake up with a sharper hook idea. Reporting into our Design Lead, you’ll be our go‑to hands‑on content creator for paid social across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and Google, steering the performance video function. Smart ideas, fast execution, constant iteration – this is your playground. Your Key Focus Areas Lead the performance video function – setting creative direction, production cadence, and standards for performance creative across channels. Build a high‑volume workflow – introducing processes, tools, and frameworks that enable rapid creative testing and iteration. Champion experimentation with AI and automation tools to improve speed, scale, and creative diversity. Collaborate with growth and paid media teams to interpret performance data and continuously evolve creative approaches. Drive creative performance insights back into strategy, influencing how campaigns and assets are developed across the business. You’ll Be Doing Things Like Creating and optimising short‑form performance videos that drive measurable results – from click‑throughs to conversions. Editing, animating and producing at speed using After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut, and emerging AI tools (Runway, Pika, Sora, Veo3, ElevenLabs). Sourcing and shaping UGC and customer footage to turn into paid assets that perform. Pitching and storyboarding ideas with clarity and confidence – knowing when to follow the rules and when to break them. Collaborating with growth teams to read and respond to metrics, ensuring every creative has a feedback loop and an optimisation plan. Testing new formats, hooks, and visual approaches to identify what scales. Contributing to Hero Collective’s wider creative projects when performance content overlaps with brand storytelling. Who You Are Experience in a senior, hands‑on role creating performance video for paid media. Proven track record inside a growth or performance marketing department, not just social or brand. Your reel is packed with punchy edits, captivating hooks, smart storytelling, and clear performance intent. Deep understanding of platform algorithms, ad formats, and creative optimisation across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Experience working with performance data – using dashboards, A/B testing results, or creative metrics to guide decisions. Comfortable setting up processes, templates, and feedback systems for scalable content creation. Passionate about creative that performs – you know what makes a thumb stop, and what gets a click. You’re a wizard with After Effects, Premiere Pro, and CapCut. Fast, curious, and fluent in AI tools and modern production workflows. Confident operating in a remote, async, high‑output environment. You’re never without your phone, camera, or GoPro. Always seeing how to capture original content with an eye for unique angles and fresh, creative ways to bring stories to life.
