Job Details Employment Type: Temporary Part TimeHours per fortnight: 32Job Category: Other Professionals - Speech TherapyReq Id: 6008 Job Summary The Speech Pathologist of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Clinic is responsible for: Using professional expertise, provide integrated assessment, planning and ongoing support to clients in the Barwon South West region with a progressive neurological disease. Implementing the service model and strategic direction, ensuring a best practice approach, and providing high quality, evidence based person centred care in the treatment and management of a progressive neurological disorder. To provide leadership on professional issues within the organisation to ensure the promotion of Speech Pathology professional values and high standards of Speech Pathology service provision. To work in collaboration with the Program coordinator and all other stakeholders to monitor, develop and improve Speech Pathology clinical service provision consistent with the objectives of the Barwon Health and the CHRPC Strategic plans. To provide Speech Pathology and inter‑professional teaching, supervision, support and development of students.
