Thisisagreatopportunitytojoinagrowingcompanyatanintegraltime-helpingtoestablishtheirpresenceinAustraliaandhavingcompleteautonomyovertechnologies,projectsanddelivery. Responsibilities Building and optimising datapipelines using Azure Databricks and ADF Designing analytics-ready datamodels and semantic layers Create and manage data engineering solutions, including data pipelines, data lakes, and transformation tools. Generate insightful reports and dashboards for stakeholders. Offer technical expertise and guidance to both team members and stakeholders. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions. Stay current with emerging data technologies and provide recommendations to enhance existing systems. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 5-10 years of relevant experience. Technical skills (SQL, Python / PySpark, Databricks, PowerBI) Proven expertise in building and developing data warehouses and ETL processes. Experience with Databricks. Strong understanding of data architecture principles and practices. Strong analytical skills to identify trends and patterns in complex datasets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and teammates. Preferred Qualifications Relevant certifications, such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, or AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty. Experience with cloud-based data solutions, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning. Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects effectively. Experience in the Insurance space would be a huge plus.
