Job Details Job Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Sydney Office Job Category: Product About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer — a creative problem‑solver who thrives at the intersection of design, data, and technology. You’ll take complex healthcare challenges and turn them into intuitive, elegant digital experiences that improve the way millions of Australians access care. At HealthShare, design is about making healthcare simpler, smarter, and more human. You’ll work across multiple live products, shaping user journeys from early discovery to polished delivery. As a senior member of our Product team, you’ll combine curiosity, craft, and strategy — guiding research, setting design direction, and elevating our design systems and standards across the organisation. You’ll balance creativity with practicality, using data, research, and empathy to craft solutions that feel effortless, accessible, and impactful. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll influence product vision, mentor others, and push what’s possible with AI‑assisted design and modern product thinking. What You’ll Do Lead discovery and research — run interviews, usability tests, and competitor reviews to uncover genuine user needs and translate insights into clear opportunities. Design with purpose — create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and refined interfaces that bring simplicity and delight to complex healthcare experiences. Collaborate and influence — partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Analysts to ensure solutions are user‑centred, technically feasible, and aligned with business goals. Champion design systems — evolve and maintain the HealthShare Design System, ensuring scalable, consistent, and accessible design across multiple products. Measure and iterate — use A/B testing, analytics, and qualitative insights to evaluate and refine design effectiveness. Design for inclusivity — ensure all designs meet accessibility standards and serve diverse user needs. Embrace AI and innovation — leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and research, driving smarter, faster, and more creative design outcomes. Lead by example — bring curiosity, empathy, and high design craft to every project, staying curious and continuously learning to inspire others and shape the future of design at HealthShare. What You’ll Bring 5+ years’ experience designing for web and mobile in agile product environments. Proven ability to own end‑to‑end design across multiple products. Deep understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and design systems. Strong research and analytical mindset — comfortable using insights and data to guide design decisions. Excellent storytelling and collaboration skills; you communicate clearly with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders. Confident using AI‑assisted tools to ideate, prototype, and streamline workflows. Highly organised, self‑driven, and passionate about creating human‑centred, impactful experiences.
