COOK Sunshine Coast Location Starting 1st December 2025 Weekend Shifts Only – 30 Hours per fortnight (6:00am -14:00pm) Churches of Christ – Sunshine Coast Casual Position About the Role Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking a casual Cook at our Little Mountain Aged Care Service. This role will see you preparing meals and undertaking basic cooking duties. About you You’re looking for a fresh challenge and enjoy using your cooking skills to create meals that nourish, comfort, and bring a sense of home to our elderly residents. Our ideal candidate : Essential Strong understanding of safe food hygiene and kitchen safety practices Current Police Check, or willingness to obtain one Valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor Desirable One years' experience as a commercial cook Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Outlook and Internet Explorer Undertake basic record keeping (eg number of meals per day, missed meals, fridge / freezer temps maintained) Confidence in communicating with supervisor and suppliers Importantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of : Integrity, Compassion, Excellence & Courage About Us For more than 140 years, Churches of Christ has supported individuals, families, and communities with compassion, dignity, and care.
