We remain steadfast in our commitment to promoting the economic, political, and social inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.About the roleThe Director Practice provides leadership to the Practice team whose purpose is to partner with operational teams to deliver practice excellence to support our clients to feel safe and live their best life. Through partnership with operational leaders and informed by your extensive practice and operational knowledge, you will develop and consistently implement The Benevolent Society's approach to practice across all areas of service delivery. You will ensure that governance processes and practice frameworks are robust, high quality, evidence-informed, contemporary, client safe and aligned with and support the organisational strategic direction.DutiesDevelop and implement the organisation’s practice standards and approach to professional supervision in line with respective roles and disciplines.Build a continuous improvement culture around practice development and implementation across the organisation through influence and leadershipEnsure all areas of service delivery have the necessary evidence-based practice support tools.Respect and promote human rights and diversity and commitment to building an inclusive and culturally competent culture.Collaborate with key operational stakeholders and relevant national office functions to ensure that the efficacy and quality of practice is maintained and continually improved.A degree in a relevant field, and relevant post graduate degree would be desirableSignificant experience in human services, therapeutic and/or allied healthAdvanced ability to design and implement integrated systems and processes to align practice with expected standardsWell-developed skills in organisational development and change management.Demonstrated experience in leading high performing teamsWell-developed collaboration skills including an ability to achieve results through influenceKey attributesCuriosity and interest in emerging evidence and practice, including the ability to translate trends into practiceAn interest in using data to ensure practice outcomes are being achieved consistently across the organisationExceptional professional judgement and knowledge of the foundations of human services practiceExcellence in cooperation and influence of operational leadersStrong leadership presence to inspire excellence and outcomesStrong management skills including troubleshooting, managing multiple deadlines, staff and client conflict resolution, performance managementWe support people to live their best life.
