Come and join us in defining and bringing to life the future of work About the role: The Onboarding & Compliance Officer ensures all contractors are onboarded quickly, accurately, and compliantly while delivering a high-quality, high-care experience. This role manages end-to-end onboarding, background checks, compliance documentation, and data accuracy across systems — with Astute Payroll experience mandatory. Key responsibilities Manage full onboarding process for all contractors across ANZ. Issue, track, and collect contracts, policies, VEVO checks and documentation. Coordinate background checks: VEVO, police checks, references and required certifications. Maintain complete, audit-ready contractor files with strong attention to detail. Manage onboarding workflows and data integrity in Astute Payroll. Provide exceptional contractor care, support and communication throughout the onboarding journey. Work with Recruitment, Payroll and Operations to resolve issues quickly. Monitor expiring documents and proactively manage renewals. Support continuous improvement of onboarding and compliance processes. To be successful in this role you will have: 3+ years in recruitment, contractor management or contingent workforce operations. Mandatory: hands-on experience using Astute Payroll for onboarding and compliance. Strong process discipline and accuracy. Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Working knowledge of compliance requirements (working rights, checks, licensing). Ability to manage competing deadlines and deliver to SLAs.
